On Tuesday evenings we meet on the track at 6.30 pm at the Goldsmiths Leisure Centre in Crowborough for a training session organised by Sid, who has obviously got a masochistic streak in him. On Wednesday evenings we meet inside Goldsmith’s at 7.30 pm. for a Club road run of between 4 and 9 miles. On Sunday mornings we meet at Goldsmith’s at 9.00 am.for runs from 6 miles upwards, plus longer runs for marathon training. We always have a support car with water, or for people who choose to run a shorter distance. Different groups run at different paces, with shortcuts for anyone who fancies bailing out early. Complete beginners are invited to contact the club for advice on suitable training programs, either by introducing yourselves at one of our Tuesday training sessions or by using the feedback form button. We are based at Goldsmith's Leisure Centre, Eridge Road, Crowborough, East Sussex, TN6 2TN. Tel. No. 01892 665488 |

| * Crowborough Runners were named as UK athletics Clubs Future, national Off-Track club of the year at the NEC in Birmingham on Saturday 9th April 2005. This prestigious award was presented to Club Chairman, Peter Maddison, and Club Secretary, Julie Harker by Bill Adcocks, former Athens marathon record holder. The coveted prize follows the club’s Regional Club of the Year award presented by the South East Amateur Athletics Association, both awards being given in recognition of the club’s efforts to encourage juniors and adults to take up running. |
